Introduction
Welcome to Oop Scoop. By accessing and using our website (https://oopscoop.com) and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By using Oop Scoop’s services and website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of all updates.
Services Provided
Oop Scoop provides residential and commercial pet waste removal services, including:
Weekly, bi-weekly, and custom service schedules
Operating hours: Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to dark
SMS/text arrival notifications approximately 60 minutes before arrival
Service availability, pricing, and schedule structure may be updated and will be reflected on our website or communicated directly.
User Obligations
By using our services, you agree to:
Provide accurate contact, billing, and access information
Ensure your property is accessible during scheduled visits
Secure or restrain aggressive pets during service times
Notify Oop Scoop of access changes or special requests at least 48 hours in advance
Follow all local regulations regarding pet ownership and waste removal
Payment and Billing
Recurring services are billed on the 1st of each month and must be paid before service begins.
Initial or one-time cleanups are billed at signup.
Free Initial Cleanup: Offered only when subscribing to a monthly plan. The first invoice is prorated for the remaining visits in the month, and the initial cleanup fee is waived.
Monthly pricing is based on an average of 4.33 weeks.
Pricing changes will be communicated 30 days in advance.
Late payments incur a $10 fee, and service may be paused until payment is made.
A temporary $1.50 card verification authorization may appear but is not an actual charge.
Initial Cleanup Policy
Heavily soiled yards or extended periods without cleaning may require additional charges. Oop Scoop will inspect the property and confirm costs before beginning.
Weather Policy
Oop Scoop operates year-round except during unsafe weather conditions. In these cases:
A double cleanup will be attempted on the next scheduled visit.
Monthly billing continues as waste still accumulates.
Clients who keep service active through winter avoid spring cleanup fees or pricing adjustments caused by seasonal buildup.
Weather delays or changes will be communicated by SMS, email, or phone.
Holiday Policy
Oop Scoop observes the following closures:
● Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday of November)
If your service day falls on these dates:
We will attempt to perform a double cleanup on the next scheduled service day, if route capacity allows.
If double duty is not possible, we will reschedule for the closest open date.
Monthly billing remains unchanged, as services are made up and waste accumulates regardless of date.
Holiday schedule adjustments will be communicated by SMS, email, or phone.
Access Policy
Clients must ensure gates and access points are available:
Locked gates or inaccessible yards may result in a skipped / missed visit and a double cleanup on the next service day.
Gate codes are stored securely and gates will be locked after service.
Oop Scoop is not responsible for gate or lock damage unless caused directly by negligence.
Pet Policy
Aggressive pets must be secured during service.
If a technician is unable to perform service due to safety concerns, the scheduled visit will be rescheduled.
Technicians will contact the client before leaving if safety concerns arise.
📱 SMS/Text Messaging Consent
By providing your phone number during signup or account registration, you consent to receive non-marketing transactional SMS messages including:
Arrival alerts and ETA notifications
Gate/access issues or delays
Scheduling changes and weather updates
Billing failures and account notices
Customer service replies
Marketing or promotional text messages are NOT sent unless separate, explicit consent is provided.
Consent to SMS is NOT a condition of purchase.
Opt-In Process:
Consent is obtained during the service signup process. Submitting the form with a phone number constitutes acknowledgment and agreement. Customers also receive a copy of these Terms & Conditions after signup.
Opt-Out:
Reply STOP to unsubcribe at any time.
Reply HELP for help or contact 302-579-1767.
Message and data rates may apply.
Message frequency varies based on service and account activity.
Privacy
Use of our website and services is governed by our Privacy Policy, detailing data collection, usage, and protection practices.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use our website or services for unlawful purposes
Interfere with or disrupt service operations or website functionality
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Third-Party Links
Links to external sites may be provided for convenience. Oop Scoop is not responsible for content or privacy practices outside of our website.
Limitation of Liability
Oop Scoop is not liable for:
Damages caused by weather or uncontrollable events
Delays due to traffic or unavoidable circumstances
Injuries or incidents caused by unsafe yard conditions
Property or pet damages not caused by negligence
Work Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a service visit, notify us within 24 hours and we will return at no cost to resolve the issue.
Cancellation and Refunds
Services may be cancelled with 48 hours notice.
Prepaid unused services will be refunded to the card on file.
Paused accounts may require a new initial cleanup fee when reactivating.
Intellectual Property
All text, images, logos, branding, and technology on the Oop Scoop website are the property of Oop Scoop and may not be copied, resold, or reproduced without written permission.
Termination of Service
Oop Scoop may suspend or terminate service for policy violations, nonpayment, abusive conduct, unsafe conditions, or breach of terms.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in a Delaware court of competent jurisdiction.
Insurance
Oop Scoop is fully insured to provide professional pet waste removal services.
