Introduction


Welcome to Oop Scoop. By accessing and using our website (https://oopscoop.com) and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.


Acceptance of Terms


By using Oop Scoop’s services and website, you signify your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our site and services constitutes acceptance of any changes.


Services Provided


Oop Scoop offers professional pet waste removal services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include:

  • Weekly, bi-weekly, and custom schedules.
  • Operating hours: Sunday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to dark.
  • Notifications sent via text 60 minutes before arrival.

Details on schedules, pricing, and service availability are outlined on our website and may be updated periodically.


User Obligations


By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information for scheduling and payment.
  • Ensure your property is accessible during the agreed service time.
  • Keep aggressive pets restrained or indoors during service times.
  • Notify Oop Scoop of any changes to service access or specific requirements at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Comply with all local regulations related to pet ownership and waste management.


Payment and Billing


Payment for services must be made according to the following terms:


  • Recurring services: Billed on the 1st of each month and must be paid before services are rendered.


  • Initial or one-time cleanups: Billed at sign up.


  • Free Initial Cleanup: The client must be subscribed to a monthly service plan. The first invoice will include a prorated amount for the remaining cleanups in the month, with the initial cleanup waived. Monthly pricing is based on 4.33 weeks to account for the average number of weeks in a month.


  • Pricing Changes: Any pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or the client portal.


  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods outlined in the client portal.


  • Automatic payments are processed securely, and invoices will be made available in the client portal upon payment.


  • Late payments incur a $10 fee, and services will be paused until payment is received.


  • A $1.50 test transaction may occur when linking a payment method for verification purposes, which will not result in an actual charge.


Initial Cleanup Policy


Initial cleanups may be subject to a higher fee depending on the yard’s condition. Oop Scoop will inspect the property on the first visit and confirm the rate before starting service. Any extensive cleaning requirements will be communicated beforehand.


Weather Policy


Oop Scoop operates year-round, except in unsafe weather conditions. In such cases:


  • We will perform double duty the following week and continue charging for the full month as waste still accumulates.


  • Clients maintaining service throughout winter will not incur extra spring cleanup fees and will keep their rates.


  • Unsafe weather conditions will be communicated via email, text, or phone notification.


Access Policy


Clients must ensure gate access is available on service days:


  • If gates are locked, clients will be charged for the visit, and service will be rescheduled with a double duty on the next visit.


  • Gate codes provided will be kept secure, and gates will be locked after service.


  • Oop Scoop is not responsible for damage to gates or locks unless caused directly by negligence.


Pet Policy


Our technicians are comfortable working with pets. However:


  • Aggressive pets must be kept restrained or indoors. If a technician cannot safely perform the service, the visit will be charged, and a double cleanup will be scheduled for the next service day.


  • If a technician encounters a loose aggressive pet, they will immediately contact the client for resolution before proceeding with services.


Marketing and Communications


By using our services, you consent to receive promotional emails, SMS updates, newsletters, and service alerts.


Oop Scoop uses tools such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, NiceJob, and analytics services to improve customer experience and target advertising. Data is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided.


User Conduct


Users agree not to:


  • Use our website or services for unlawful purposes.


  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the website or services.


  • Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the site or its related systems.


Privacy


Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your information.


Third-Party Links


Our website may contain links to third-party sites. Oop Scoop is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external websites.

Limitation of LiabilityWhile Oop Scoop strives for excellence, we are not liable for:


  • Any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of our services or website.


  • Loss or damage to property or pets due to factors beyond our control.


  • Delays or missed services caused by weather, traffic, or other unavoidable circumstances.


Work Guarantee


We stand by the quality of our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a cleanup, contact us within 24 hours, and we will make it right.


Cancellation and Refunds


Clients may cancel services anytime with 48-hour notice:


  • Cancellations can be made via the client portal, phone, or email.


  • Refunds for mid-month cancellations will be processed for services not provided and credited back to the payment method on file.


  • Clients pausing services will be subject to an initial cleanup fee upon resumption.


Intellectual Property


All content on the Oop Scoop website—including text, images, logos, and software—is the property of Oop Scoop and protected by copyright laws. Reproduction, distribution, or derivative works require written permission.


Termination of Service


Oop Scoop reserves the right to terminate or suspend service for any user who violates these terms or engages in disruptive conduct.


Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Delaware. Disputes arising from the use of our services or website shall be resolved in a competent court located in Delaware.
